Have you got an idea or a project in mind that you’d like to implement, but you need a boost to get it off the ground?

This could be a motivational boost, a team to share your ideas with, financial input – any and all of the above!

If you answered ‘Yes!’, FPEI can help through its EU Project – INCrowd.

What is INCrowd?

INCrowd is an international project that helps young people like you develop their ideas and turn them into reality.

Who can sign up?

You can sign up if you are:

  • Aged between 18 and 30 years old
  • Are a Maltese national or have Maltese citizenship/resident permit
  • Not currently studying or in employment
  • Willing to follow in-person training sessions in November
  • Eager to share and develop your idea into a feasible project

What will you receive during the training sessions?

The training sessions called ‘Into the Action’ will cover various topics from ideation to implementation, focusing on the skills required to develop and run a crowdfunding campaign, and how crowdfunding can help you raise the initial capital needed to launch a project.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a way to raise money from people – some whom you may know and others who could be complete strangers. If people like your project idea, they could be encouraged to back you by donating some money and in return they will receive a non-financial gift or reward from you.

Zaar is Malta’s only crowdfunding platform that handles campaigns related to most industries, with a focus on the personal touch and bespoke service that is offered to all clients. We will guide you from the very start and provide you with all the necessary information, advice and support that you will need before, during and after your crowdfunding campaign.

INCrowd Workshops in November

By exchanging ideas with other young people during the ‘Into the Action’ workshops, you will learn to:

  • Structure your idea and project
  • Present your project
  • Draw up a budget
  • Set up a communication campaign and use social media for promotional reasons
  • Get a community excited about your project… and more!

After the training workshops, if you’ve showed potential, you will be invited to take your project a step further and travel to Brussels (paid by the EU project funds) for a workshop with other young people from Belgium, Italy and Croatia.

In January 2022, everyone will meet up in Brussels to participate in an academy where you can share experiences, tips, questions, and get to meet like-minded people.
