Marketing & Projects Coordinator (part-time)
As the Marketing & Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating EU and locally-funded projects. Your role will involve project management and monitoring, marketing communications, and collaborating with project partners. These responsibilities are aimed at ensuring the successful execution of various projects undertaken by FPEI and Zaar Crowdfunding Malta.
Our projects typically focus on entrepreneurship, crowdfunding, alternative finance, innovation, and the start-up ecosystem, therefore, an interest in these areas would be beneficial. The Marketing & Projects Coordinator will report directly to the FPEI/Zaar Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities related to different projects, including research, report writing and any administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning, organising and promoting events, webinars, and other initiatives.
- Serve as the primary contact person and liaise with stakeholders on projects.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, publicity requirements, and reporting obligations.
- Communicate project deliverables effectively and on time across various platforms.
- Draft proposals, project applications, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Track project milestones and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop new project ideas and seek funding opportunities.
- Support management with administrative tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualities
- Exceptional report writing and presentation skills in English.
- Basic skills in creating visual content (e.g., using tools like Canva).
- Capable of multitasking across various duties and projects with professionalism and accuracy.
- Ability to produce high-quality work under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and Maltese.
- Be well organised, proactive and possess good time-management skills.
- Be a person of integrity, outgoing and confident with excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Be in possession of a recognised Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 6).
- Previous work experience in project coordination will be considered an asset.
Additional Information
- This role may require attending events locally and abroad, so work schedule flexibility is essential.
- Having personal transportation would be advantageous.
- Unless agreed otherwise, the part-time hours need to happen during regular working hours (09:00 – 17:00).
