Thanks to ongoing growth and upcoming initiatives and projects, we are seeking to recruit a Projects Coordinator to join the FPEI team.
As Projects Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of any funded projects, including: project management and monitoring, communications, processing payments, and liaising with the projects’ partners. These tasks will be directed towards ensuring the successful implementation of the different projects carried out by FPEI and Zaar Crowdfunding.
All our local and EU projects and initiatives are related to crowdfunding, entrepreneurship, seed funding, alternative finance, fundraising and the start-up ecosystem in general, so interest in this area would be considered a bonus.
The Projects Coordinator will report directly to the FPEI/ZAAR Manager.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Administration and Projects Coordination:
- Manage the activities related to the different projects which could include research, organising events and report writing
- Act as Project Contact Person and liaise with all project stakeholders
- Ensure that projects are implemented in line with regulations, publicity requirements, reporting requirements and any other regulations of relevance to the respective project
- Effectively communicate projects’ deliverables in a timely and clear fashion
- Draft proposals, project applications and progress reports, and other required documentation
- Carry out marketing and administrative tasks related to the projects
- Prepare marketing materials for projects
- Track project milestones and deliverables and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
- Develop new project ideas and seek funding opportunities
- Assist in day-to-day administration as required
Skills and Mindset:
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese
- Ability to create artwork using tools like Canva
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to deliver quality work under minimal supervision
- Ability to take initiative and be entrepreneurial
- Be well organised and possess good time-management skills
- Multitask several on-going duties and projects with professionalism & accuracy
- Be a person of integrity, outgoing and confident with excellent interpersonal skills
Previous work experience in EU project coordination will be considered an asset. The role may require occasional travel. All applicants must be based in Malta and be eligible to work in Malta. This is a full-time role.
