1. Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for membership in Future Founders Plus, a community created by The Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Initiatives (FPEI) that is dedicated to sharing entrepreneurial knowledge, fostering innovation, and supporting aspiring and established entrepreneurs through collaborative events, networking, and communication.

Members join Future Founders Plus of their own volition and FPEI cannot be held responsible for any issues or damages that may arise as a result of this membership. 

2. Eligibility

  • Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years and older.
  • Members must demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship, business development, or innovation.
  • Membership is open to individuals from all professional and academic backgrounds.

3. Membership Benefits

Members are entitled to:

  • Attend in-person and virtual events hosted by FPEI on either a complimentary or discounted rate basis.
  • Access exclusive entrepreneurial resources, discussions, and workshops.
  • Network with fellow members, industry experts, and mentors.
  • Participate in a members-only WhatsApp group for real-time updates, discussions, and community support.

4. Application Process

  • Interested individuals must complete the membership application form found online – https://fpei.mt/fpei-future-founders-plus/.
  • Applications may be subject to review by FPEI.
  • Membership becomes active upon approval and payment of any dues.

5. Membership Dues

  • The membership rates for 2026 are as follows (these are clearly communicated during the application process):
    • €95 including VAT payable annually
    • Student rate: €35 including VAT payable annually. This is only applicable to full-time students and will remain valid until the person is in full-time education.
    • FPEI reserves the right to amend these prices as its discretion. Members will be notified about price changes.

7. Member Responsibilities

  • Uphold the values of integrity, respect, and collaboration.
  • Respect the confidentiality of discussions and shared intellectual property. Members share information at their own risk. Members are advised not to share any confidential or sensitive information; FPEI is not responsible for any information and material that Members may share. 
  • Use the WhatsApp group responsibly, avoiding spam, promotional content, or any form of harassment.
  • Abide by FPEI’s code of conduct during all events and online interactions.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Members must engage in constructive and respectful dialogue.
  • Violations of the code of conduct, including misuse of the WhatsApp group, may result in suspension or termination of membership.

9. Termination of Membership

  • Membership may be terminated voluntarily by the member at any time. 
  • FPEI may revoke membership for violations of the policy or code of conduct with immediate effect.
  • In either of the above cases, no refunds will be given.

10. Amendments

  • This policy may be updated periodically to reflect the evolving needs of the group.

Members will be notified of any significant changes in a timely manner.
