Welcome to Young, Bold & in Business – Summer Networking; organised by FPEI Future Founders – the student membership club for entrepreneurs (and lovers of entrepreneurship).
FPEI Future Founders is dedicated to all students who have a passion for self-development in their personal and professional lives, who have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to develop it further, and who want to harness the opportunities that a community of like-minded people will give.
Join us on the 4th July at il-lokal, Old Bakery Street, Valletta to network with a mixed cohort of people who love innovation, inspiration, and motivation! We’ll hear the stories of young entrepreneurs from different sectors who took the bull by the horns and carved their niche in the market – and have a lovely summer drink together.
Please register here to attend.

Zack Ritchie is a multidisciplinary artist and brand builder from Malta. He dabbles in both digital and traditional art, and has a solid background in advertising. His work spans contemporary art and culture, using everything from large-scale sculptures to NFTs. His latest initiative, the Archipals shop, is built on a simple idea: we don’t just sell products, we sell stories. Each item is designed to inspire and engage, bridging the gap between generations through narrative magic.
Shalise Barnes grew up between the USA and Canada before moving to Europe. She studied Fine Art in Paris and moved to Malta in 2017. She began renovating properties the same year and opened her own studio, Artemis Interior Design, in 2018. Professionally, she specialises in design and project management of investment properties and offers consulting for people looking to purchase properties in Italy and Malta. Personally, her interests include helping other people with their entrepreneurship goals, abstract painting, and studying anthropological and architectural history.
Laura Besançon is a Maltese artist with a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Communications & Psychology from the UoM, and a Master’s in Photography from the Royal College of Art in London. She is the founder of The Vintage Collection (TVC), a curated vintage shop on Strait Street, within the facade of Vincenti Buildings. Central to Laura’s practice are notions of play, connectivity and place. She is also interested in appropriation, reconfiguration, shifting perspectives and playful action. Her work often responds to place, and the result is often participatory work, spatial interventions, photographic installations, video or mixed media works. After running TVC by appointment, at pop-ups and online, Laura has recently opened the shop in Valletta. Laura sees parallels between her art practice and the purpose of The Vintage Collection – championing found objects, found garments, purposeful action, and seeing things in new ways.
This event is free to attend and is supported by Agenzija Zghazagh.
