Welcome to the first networking event of FPEI Pathfinder – the student membership club for entrepreneurs (and lovers of entrepreneurship).

The FPEI Pathfinder membership club is dedicated to all students who have a passion for self-development in their personal and professional lives, who have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to develop it further, and who want to harness the opportunities that a community of like-minded people will give.

Speakers:

Suzi Mifsud – Susannah Mondini is a Maltese designer and entrepreneur currently living and working on various projects in Malta. She is the co-founder of FOLD, a leather belt bag company that she started with a friend in Barcelona in 2019. In 2021, Susannah and her partner Matt Mondini set up their creative design studio; Floating World. The studio went on to design the interiors and bespoke furnishings for their bagel and coffee shop in Valletta; The Bagel Hole. Susannah’s main focus has shifted to the running and operations of this small catering establishment that serves NY Style Bagels and specialty coffee, whilst still playing an active role in her other enterprises.

Zach Ciappara – Zach is the Founder & CEO of locally based start up FreeHour, which started out in 2017 as the go-to student app in Malta, catered to solving daily problems for University & 6th forms students by providing them with an innovative timetable system & other benefits such as Job opportunities, Offers & much more.

Jean Paul Farrugia – Jean Paul began his professional career as a project manager and biochemical engineer in Pharmaceuticals. He founded ReRoot retail and online shop in 2019 after realizing his love for anything climate change and sustainability-related.

Kristina Zammit Endrich – Kristina started creating digital doodles as a form of visual diary. These illustrations became a line of tongue-in-cheek greeting cards and prints under the name “island and the prairies”, now “Pocket Sandwich Studio”. Now Kristina’s work can be found in illustration and animations, on billboards and websites, in magazines and social feeds, on album covers and band tees, and where it all started – on stationery store shelves.

Join us on the 14th December at the KSU-PWC University Common Room to mingle with fellow students, academics, and people from the entrepreneurial sector, and hear the stories of young, local entrepreneurs as they share their journeys including the challenges and the low points as well as the triumphs and successes.
